As a Network Development Engineer student at TLG Learning I am seeking apprenticeship and / or full time employment opportunities.I am certified NET + with hands on experience deploying and troubleshooting L3 routing and L2 switching.I am AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified with experiencing designing budgets and deploying EC2 instances.I am Linux + certified. I am aslo constantly challenging myself to create network automation solutions using Ansible and Python while staying up-to-date on other industry standard tools. I have over 5 years of electronics technician experience working with cutting edge technology including fiber optics, VOIP, and satellite communications.My time serving in the US Navy has awarded me the opportunity to travel the world and experience rich, diverse cultures. I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan onboard the USS George Washington and USS Ronald Regan, both are Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carriers. While onboard I managed a work center of 10 motivated and hard working sailors. I was responsible for being the subject matter expert for various mission critical systems, which included being on-call to troubleshoot and deploy solutions 24/7 and provide customer service to the 5,000 sailors onboard during our 6 month deployments.After I finished my time in the Navy I found my way into the restaurant industry, it turns out my leadership and problem solving skills translated quite well! I quickly became a co-owner of multiple successful Ian's Pizza stores in Seattle. I leveraged my ability to stay calm under pressure and pivot strategies during the COVID-19 Pandemic and social justice demonstrations in the summer of 2020. Through the hard work of my team we managed to remain open, keep people employed, safe, and we played a role in supporting our community. With my over 10 years of leadership experience and 5 years of technical experience I can't wait to be apart of a team focused on creating solutions in the Network Development world.
