In general I have been in Telecommunications since 1984. I have been involved in creating Network Operations Centers supporting large enterprise revenue customers to managing Fiber Optic networks for wholesale Telecommunications Companies. The last 5 years have encompassed Managing Energy Services and Cost Reduction Initiatives for Level 3 Communications. My role supports 1,600 locations across the US and Canada, managing Data Center and Network Facility Energy Reduction Projects. This role encompasses every aspect of Data Center Management inclusive of installing Building Management Controls, Energy Sourcing, Utility Curtailment & Incentive programs to Bill processing and Audits. I have most recently been able to travel to South America and share my experience and gain appreciation from our Level 3 Team in Sao Paulo, Brasil and Bogota, Colombia as well as Suba.
