Interface with independent, manufacturer's representatives in the application of AAON controls products. Make recommendations and pricing for the customer's request of special HVAC control options not selectable in AAON’s electronic unit selection software. This includes creating a bill of material, drawings or generated documentation to complete such request. Also assist Reps with post-sales technical support and gather necessary documentation to ensure controls orders are correct.Confer with manufacturer's reps, specifying engineers, customers, and others to discuss potential engineering projects. Apply engineering knowledge to generate solutions for current and legacy AAON Orion Controls. Analyze data such as point to point wiring diagrams to determine a controls upgrade path for older units. Determine pricing and special options based on engineering, manufacturing, and material costs. Work with multiple engineering departments to solve issues and to complete new unit drawings, submittal drawings and wiring diagrams. Develop application of controls and systems for HVAC equipment. Other Responsibilities/Activities: Evaluate product applications using technical and engineering skills. Provides technical support and technical documentation for sales representatives. Generates bill of materials and part numbers for specials projects.
