I formed part of the Solution design team with the Professional Services division and was deployed to the Application Development team within Sasol. I was responsible for starting the ECM division, securing a lucrative project pipeline, and ushering in the SharePoint 2010 platform. I lend architectural guidance to the SharePoint platform as well as overall Enterprise Architecture guidance. I was involved in a variety of projects and initiative, including Archiving, Infrastructure development, corporate governance, etc.Since my initial employment, I have been asked to join several initiatives for clients including Anglo Platinum, South African Post Office, Umgeni Water and sever other clients. I was recruited as a Senior Analyst Programmer but was quickly promoted to the rank of System Architect role within the newly developing Professional Services division. I am responsible for setting technical tasks for my teams, evaluating and writing tender proposals, setting up of new project as well as taking the lead on existing projects. I am also responsible for the setting up of new frameworks and evaluating the business worth of new technologies.My prime account is the Corporate Constellations project, where I act as Architect, Project Manager, and Lead Programmer. I was selected by Q Data Europe Limited (part of Business Connexion Group) to join a large team to be contracted to moneysupermarket.com and was attached to the Software Infrastructure division within moneysupermarket.com. I primarily resided on the Web Frameworks team. The Web frameworks team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the web framework, as well as design and architectural overseeing for the entire moneysupermarket and travelsupermarket website. I have played many roles, including Senior Analyst Programmer, Consulting developer and Lead Analyst Programmer. I was instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the web frameworks as well have experience in Leading the team of 5 developers. I am skilled and versed in many Agile, Scrum and eXtreme Programming methodologies, which I implemented in my roles there. I also pioneered the Test Driven Methodology push within my division, and sat on many committees. I am well versed in the Product Development Life Cycle and have taken many projects from inception through to completion. The technologies that I used on a daily basis were .Net 2.0, C#, and ASP.net.
