Experience: Involved in contracted services for plant turn-around on the Nitrogen 2000 Unlimited Company, Point Lisas, Trinidad. Equipment Serviced -Siemens Steam Turbine: Responsible for acquiring correct tools for job, assisting plant personnel in dis assembly according to planned engineering procedures, carrying out servicing of turbine casing (top & below), inspection of thrust bearings and respective covers, replacement of turbine diaphragms, labyrinth seals and turbine rotor assembly. Seal and bearing clearance checks. Reassembly. -Siemens Multi-stage Centrifugal Air compressor: Directly involved in the dis-assembly of Bull gear, volute casings, air intake piping, inlet guide vanes, impeller shrouds, impellers, gas seals and Journal bearings. Volute casings serviced and inspected. Bearings, impellers and seals replaced.

Experience:--Determine seal designs for customers and provide prototype models for test and evaluation.--Revise drawings assuring that drawings meet latest engineering standards.--Analyze, evaluate and rectify mechanical seal failures.--Approved dimensional or material deviation requests on components manufactured by the suppliers.--Communicate orally and in writing with customers, salespeople, company personnel and vendors providing counselling, recommendations and technical assistance.--Observe and report performance test results; collect and evaluate performance data from customers and sales personnel.--Forecast requirements and lead time to meet customer and departmental objections.--Responsible for the preparation of quotes for various equipment to companies/plants located mainly in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate area, Trinidad.

Experience: Involved in contracted services for plant preventative maintenance on the Methanol Holdings Trinidad Ltd's AUM Complex, Point Lisas, Trinidad.Main duties:-- Assisted technicians with shaft alignment using laser technology tools and dial gauge methods of various plant turbo-machinery, pumps and electrical driver motors.--In charge of tool handling for work carried out with team and record keeping.--Performance of Bearing crush test and clearance tests on various rotating equipment.--Pipe fitting works and gasket inspection and change-out.--Worked directly with team of technicians and Plant supervisors in the reassembly and start-up of 3 multistage centrifugal compressors and steam turbine.
