I work as a Career Program Coordinator to serve students with disabilities in the Boston Public School system, teaching inclusion, empowerment, professional and life skills.

- Organized and conducted computer training for village librarians in the use of cloud based services, internet security, and software such as Word, Excel, blogging and troubleshooting. The training sessions were presented in the Russian language. - Facilitated English based clubs for teenagers (Ages 13 to 19) with a focus on critical thinking, civic engagement, and open discussion of important social topics such as immigration, gender and domestic violence, peer pressure, drug use, healthy living and personal development.- Organized and helped lead a seminar for youths focused on civic activism, volunteering, opened dialogue for youth opportunities in NGO’s in the city of Ceadir Lunga, Moldova. - Assisted the director of the Business Incubator to develop a year-long program to promote entrepreneurship for women and children, and served as a technical advisor for budgeting and grant writing. Due to this teamwork the Business Incubator won a major grant from the US Embassy in Moldova.- Collaborated with a Moldovan English teacher partner in planning and teaching English in the Ceadir Lunga Professional and Vocational School to its students, many who come from poorer families. I helped teach twice a week, to different groups of students (cooks, carpenters, plumbers), and assisted in teaching vocabulary, grammar, and including serious topics for discussion such as domestic violence, alcoholism, mental and physical health, pollution, and teenage related issues, in tandem with teaching English grammar.

- As native speaker of Filipino, coordinated lessons and conversation activities for college students learning Filipino for work and research purposes.

- Assisted Director for Careers in Non Profit and Government in administering alumni databases and reaching out to potential employers and recruiters- Promoted job search workshops and showcased careers in non profit and government- Assisted in planning and directing alumni sponsored trips for students to Boston, Washington DC and Annapolis, MD to connect with alumni working in NGO’s and government agencies.

- Assisted in research of biochar carbon as soil amendment to increase yields for local farmers- Profiled several Thai companies in the timber, pulp/paper, fertilizers and pesticides industry who are producing biomass wastes. - Participated in Public Health surveys around Mae Pang, Long Khot and Huai Sai sub-districts, assessing health of impoverished children and elderly- Volunteered with Public Health operations via Warm Heart’s “Project Access” where we visited individuals enrolled in the project on a daily basis who cannot afford to travel between villages and the main clinic- Helped with delivering prescription medicine, assisted with physical therapy alongside volunteer nurses and transported individuals who needed medical assistance to the local health clinic or the main hospital in Chiang Mai

- I was assigned as individual augment to 2nd Marine Air Wing and 5th Marine Regiment. - Participated in humanitarian and military campaigns in Southern Helmand Province, Afghanistan.- Worked in security teams to defend forward operating bases and villages, deterring and discouraging enemy assaults. Aided in humanitarian relief at the local level, distributing food, water and medical aid to Afghan citizens, and worked alongside military police, explosive ordnance disposal, military engineers and K9 units to clear improvised explosive devices in the surrounding area.-Participated in numerous missions as gunner over Helmand and Kandahar provinces, pertaining to the capture and detainment of enemy insurgents, designated as POW's. -Aided the unit commander in planning and preparation for combat deployment.-Advised senior officers and unit commander with communicating efficiently with stateside administrative teams-Assisted with post-deployment administrative matters for smooth transition of sensitive military records

-Served as quality control supervisor and team leader of the main administrative center at the Marine Corps Air Station, North Carolina. -Increased the productivity of delivering benefits such as awards, life insurance and special duty pay to over eight thousand Marines. -Organized deployment readiness seminars for military personnel preparing for combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. -Counseled unit commanders to improve communication between deployed and US-based personnel. -Recorded and analyzed information database for accuracy using MS Excel and Access, 3270 Emulator, and UDMIPS.-Specialized in preparing combat pay matrices and constructing memorandums for military citations and awards. -Provided assistance to Casualty Assistance Care Officers in notifying family members of wounded or fallen servicemen. -Administered records for units conducting operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Haiti, and Libya. -Audited and reviewed classified military personnel records in military separations, retirements, and discharge.-Coordinated efforts with the base Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) in administering legal documents pertaining to Non Judicial Punishments and Courts Martial.
