As Operations Director my role is to lead and direct operational strategies to support key objectives in driving effective growth while promoting our guiding principles. To develop and manage key metrics, monitoring productivity and controlling operational costs in manufacturing, quality and safety focusing on increasing our operational capacity through efficiencies. Previously as Vice President of Operations at EPE USA my primary responsibility was to manage all US manufacturing facilities, sourcing, supply chain, quality, logistics and safety. Prior to this as Regional General Manager of EPE USA I was responsible for the overall performance of our manufacturing facilities for Central USA including Acting Regional Manager for our Mexico locations. Responsibilities include overseeing financials, market strategy, sales, design and production.For ten consecutive years, since 2001, I had served positions with AbiBow Recycling. Three years as Operations Manager in the Material Recovery Facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, two years as Area Manager in the Collections Market based at the Abibow Newsprint Mill in Thorold, Ontario, Canada and as Area Manager for the Houston, Texas market for five years. Prior to this I served thirteen years in various positions with ECS Technologies Inc. in Barrie, Ontario, Canada including Plant Manager. I hold an Honors degree in Earth Science from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. I have served various positions with Waste Diversion Ontario, Keep Houston Beautiful and Houston - Galveston Area Council.I have extensive management experience in a production environment, developing durable and sustainable operations teams. A team leader that can identify and drive change in an operation to gain efficiencies necessary to make it Best in Class. Proven sales leader, with marketing experience and a wide ranging customer relations experience in the packaging industry as well as the waste diversion industry, including recycling and hazardous waste processing and disposal and precious metal refining.
