Bale Room- Preforms tasks and provides service to support the plants production goals. Complies with established job safety practices, (PPE, Forklift Inspection, ect). Supports and followed guidelines of the food safety system. Operates forklift during routine duites. Removes finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, loading and labeling. Responds for replenishment of supplies for the production floor assigned areas. Conducts inspection of and routine preventive maintenance on assigned equpment, and corrects issues or has them corrected by propper trade support. Preforms record keeping duties as required as well as inventoring finished goods. Train employees on operation, safety and housekeeping duties of assigned area.

This position supports all areas of the Distribution center including, but not limited to the following areas; merchandise handling (picking and putting away), receiving, price marking, splitting, shipping, pachage specialized customer orders, handling cardboard and waste for team efficiency and the preparation and assemble of bicycles. Moved product accurately and expertly throughout the warehouse. After receiving training and certification of power equipment (PIT) became a Certified Trainer to train and certify new employees and current employees on single and double pallet jacks, sit-down and stand-up forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks and tugger. Assisted Supervisor as a back up lead and lead when no leads were on staff, as well as trained other personal on how to preform lead position.

As a stocking associate you support the Lowes goals and values of providing the best customer service while ensure merchandise is available and shelved to the company standards. Operate a variety of equipment and ladders to stock merchandise and displays. Using hand tools and electrical tools as needed for the assembly of floor inventory and customer orders. Daily duties included with the staging of the outside displays that are returned to the interior of the store at the end of each business day. Recycling and removing of the trash from the sales floor as well as pallets and scrap wood.

This seasonal position is to ensure all ordered products gets returned to the correct order so customers receives all product ordered. Once the order has been corrected we would place finished orders on carts that would be delivered back to packaging and retrieve empty carts to use for more orders. Had to use handheld RF scanners to determine what product belongs with what ticket. Computers were used for printing and research on out of stock items.

In this position, was responsible to ensure all employee's were assigned tasks, cross training and training personal so to create a team to ensure we could meet the production schedule for the line. Ensure company guidelines and polices in the food grade production line were being followed for the customers' safety on receiving a quality product. Maintain records and ensure employees were completing their records correctly as well. Troubleshoot equipment issues in a timely manner and determine if maintenance personal is needed and assist with mechanic repairs to get the line back up running. Keep Supervisor informed on issues throughout the shift. Cover equipment operators for breaks as well as unmanned equipment when short handed on staffing until it could be corrected. When needed, go to other lines and equipment to keep production meeting production schedules.
