Led the creation, articulation, and execution of the vision and master plan for the 22 acre Historic Pearl Brewery, located on the bank of the San Antonio River, which is among the most ambitious mixed-use urban redevelopment efforts in the United States with assets then in excess of $100 MM. Led team in the negotiation and implementation of several groundbreaking public private partnerships, including the $70MM, 1 mile extension of the San Antonio River from the central business district to our development, and the $4MM development agreement to extend underground drainage (the first of its kind in San Antonio)Successfully negotiated major amendments to the City Development Code to allow the Pearl redevelopment to proceed as the first mixed used urban redevelopment of its kind in San Antonio, catalyzing explosive, multibillion dollar reinvestment at the northern edge of the central business district.
