I oversee our Quality Management program to ensure that our field, office, and laboratory practices are continuously improving and complying with our NELAP accreditation and our STAC/A2LA accreditation as an AETB (Air Emission Testing Body). I research regulations and work closely with clients to meet their needs and prepare most of our technical proposals for emissions testing projects. I review air permits and write test protocols so they are suitable to submit to the EPA and regulatory agencies nationwide. I travel to sites to do technical reviews before projects and to do specialty testing and provide support for our field crews.

Create technical proposals and protocols for air emissions testing programs requested by power and industry clients. Have provided service quotes worth over $20 million to date that detail compliance, engineering, and performance testing project scopes, schedules, and pricing. Create marketing materials and attend industry conferences to listen and share Grace's capabilities and learn how Grace can serve current and future clients more effectively. Work with environmental professionals at plants, environmental consultants, and laboratories to ensure a successful project. Other responsibilities include handling customer issues, interviewing potential employees, and interviewing exiting employees to find areas of improvement for the company. Create QSTI exam review materials to aid technicians in their preparation and climb the stack occasionally to operate air sampling equipment.

Developed and delivered presentations, handouts, surveys, and daily collaborating/presenting opportunities for students to help our future workforce become more successful, independent learners and critical thinkers. Topics include the prescribed math curriculum along with study/life skills such as time management, organization, and overcoming anxiety in daunting situations. Also motivate adults of all ages to work as a team in the classroom and become better individually outside the classroom to make the team stronger.

Was responsible for various projects including:• Indianapolis Brill/Troy Septic Tank Elimination Project (STEP) o Developed $7 million construction estimate o Designed 40,000 LF of sewer with five (5) lift stations o Recorded meeting minutes for several design meetings with the City’s Dept. of Public Works o Prepared apps for state permits required• Town of Blountsville, IN Master Utility Plan o Described in a report several wastewater collection and treatment options(i.e. gravity sewer, grinder pump/pressure sewer, vacuum sewer system) for the Towno Worked with fellow engineers and met with surrounding towns to develop viable water supply, transmission, and distribution options for the Town o Performed field surveys of the Town and used the Rational Method to design a storm sewer system o Developed construction budget for each option in the plan and described possible financing options available to the Town through Indiana’s SRF and OCRA funding agencies.

Taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus to high school students at T.C. Howe Academy. Also coached JV baseball, math contest participants, and tutored after school.
