My role included partnering with key NSOs and State Institutes of Sport / State Academies of Sport personnel on coaching profiling, targeted development, strategic planning and performance planning as well as the assessment of high performance plans.Further responsibility has included the case management of Coaching Scholarship Holders. I was also responsible for the management of the National Officiating Scholarship Program and liaised with 11 NSOs and 22 scholarship holders in the future direction of the Program. I was required to manage the National Officiating Scholarship Program team in the implementation of the National Officiating Scholarship Program for 2010. This role has required me to coordinate a team of ASC staff, liaise with 11 high profile NSOs and 22 scholarship holders in the implementation of the Program. -

Manager Junior Sport UnitAustralian Sports Commission Mar 2001 - May 2004I designed and managed the implementation of the blue print for the present day AASC program. This included the coordination of the trials with VicHealth, as well as the negotiations with cross government departments. This project was conceptualised and designed to use junior sport as the vehicle to affect the growing epidemic of childhood obesity. The blue print attracted $90 million dollars initially into the Australian Sports Commission over a four year period. In this position I managed two Canberra based staff and one Melbourne based staff member who was located in VicHealth I strategically influenced the design of the Junior Sport Framework in conjunction with the University of Queensland. This framework is the basis of all junior sport policies for all National Sporting Organisations within Australia. This framework addresses all facets of the junior sport environment. In this position I prepared ministerial briefs, interdepartmental briefs, ASC Board minutes and documentation for Senate Estimates. -
