• Overseeing daily operations and café staff to ensure customers have a world-class experience• Managing the recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention of personnel, including job training, task supervision, and managing staff rewards and incentives • Managing the café’s finances; including employee payroll, daily cash flows, budget and expense reports, purchase orders, and quarterly reports to the national office• Managing store inventory; including keeping a detailed ledger of incoming and outgoing stock, managing inventory budget, and creating replenishing orders through a lean tracking system• Providing real-time service for customers in order to improve the quality of their experience• Overseeing the general upkeep of store and maintaining a safe and clean working environment, in line with Federal Labor and Occupational Health Standards• Training employees on the cash register/point of sale systems and utilizing the data collected to promote lean operations• Creating advertising and promotional displays, drafting advertising materials, and determining the best mediums to share information in order to increase business and café traffic
