CurrentThe Cornerstone Program at Woodside Houses provides opportunities for children, teenagers, and adults to participate in structured after-school programs and drop-in activities including performing arts and music, athletics, computers, reading, chess, and more. Health fairs and other collaborations with local community organizations bring together local residents and celebrate the community’s diversity.Manage 25 instructor's/group leaders and oversee activities of 200+ children and adults at community-based non-profit that offers structured programs that range from pre-K to college and career readiness, home care and home health aide training.Assist manage yearly budget.Assist with all program design and implementation, as well as participant recruitment and retention strategies.Collaborate with community leaders and local businesses to build sustaining partnerships.Key achievements: Comply with contractual requirements, including record keeping, data entry, and reporting for stakeholders and program providers.Monitor line staff implementation of lesson plans; offer feedback and mentoring.Ensure programming aligns with Department of Education standards and Department of Youth and Community Development (i.e.STEM, Literacy, and Enrichment).Revamped teen/adult program focused on college, job and career preparation while introducing members to entrepreneurial opportunities.Created and cultivated project guidelines and leveraged student feedback to create and launch Youth Leadership program that was widely received by all stakeholders.
