I usually work the afternoon shifts, so I start off by putting on toddler tunes and waking the kids from their nap. We change diapers, eat a healthy snack, and have playtime. Towards the end of the day I start my cleaning duties and gather kids’ belongings for parents to grab easily at pickup. My cleaning tasks include: removing trash, disinfecting toys, play areas, and changing stations. I enjoy working with kids and helping them learn new things. I also make it a priority to develop a strong relationship with their parents so they trust me with the daily care of their children.

I answered incoming calls, assisted customers with their billing questions, and updated summarized notes from each call in the database. I maintained perfect attendance and high customer satisfaction reviews.

I assisted residents with daily routines they were unable to perform themselves such as: bathing, getting dressed, eating, and exercise. This was a rewarding position for me because I loved putting a smile on our residents’ faces and helping them with simple tasks that we all take for granted at times. I also assisted with various custodial, kitchen, and front desk duties when they were short staffed.
