I currently head a successful business area focused on cloud enablement at Synthesis Software Technologies. We kick-started the initiative back in 2016 with some great support from the broader Synthesis team, and are now rated as one of Africa's top AWS partners; with a number of high profile clients in financial services and retail in our portfolio.While my background is in tech, particularly programming (something I've fostered since high school, while writing what are arguably the worst games known to mankind), my current passion is very much in growing people and instilling leadership across my organization, specifically by encouraging radical candour and transparency, helping the team be purpose-driven and service-oriented, promoting inclusion at all levels and putting in the guardrails to operate in an effective high-trust environment that is mutually beneficial for all.
