In 2017 I was the founding CTO of a startup that provides innovative new technical solutions to students applying to schools and universities. During my time at the company we explored a number of different business opportunities and partnerships and won a number of awards, including a Shell LiveWIRE award.The startling pace at which the company was moving forward and the huge effort involved proved a little too much for me to juggle with my personal life and responsibilities as a new father at the time, so I made the decision to step down in November of the same year, although not without first helping to make some great early hires and providing good technical documentation to the rest of the executive team.The company has since gone on to do very well without me, with over 150,000 students now on the platform and has raised several million pounds in funding, so I am very proud of the team's success on the foundations we built together.

An executive management role with overall responsibility for the company's I.T infrastructure and software development activities. I left the company in December the same year as sadly it was not able to secure sufficient funding for its ambitious objectives, but the company still continues to sell some games on the iOS store.
