With SPA's acquisition of Veracity Forecasting and Analysis I will continue to provide high end analytical services to multiple Naval Aviation programs, and lead teams of M&S developers, data scientists, and operations analysts. As Veracity's Chief Business Development Officer I was integral to Veracity's growth of 300% from 2014 - 2018, capturing over $5M in new revenue. In my role as CBDO I led over 10 successful proposal teams, and established new teaming arrangements with over 5 major defense contractors. As a retired Naval Officer, I possess more than two decades of experience in military operations; defense acquisition; military aviation life-cycle management and sustainment; and defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution processes. While in my final assignment on active duty, I served as the OPNAV Resource/Requirements Officer (2010-2012) overseeing all Naval Aviation Depot Maintenance funding and readiness requirements. This assignment helped hone my understanding of the DoD's need for accurate weapon-system and financial models to forecast the necessary budget resources to meet national security requirements. From 2007 to 2010, I was assigned to Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, FL. Serving in one of the U.S. Navy's largest aviation repair depots, I developed a deep understanding of the industrial planning required to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise. As a Navy Fellow with the RAND Corporation, I co-authored several papers in the areas of acquisition reform and management of aging aircraft, including A Survey of Aircraft Structural-Life Management Programs in the U.S. Navy, the Canadian Forces, and the U.S. Air Force. My experiences include EA-6B airborne electronic attack combat flying as well as training as a Developmental Test Naval Flight Officer through the U.S. Navy Test Pilot School. I have in depth acquisition and Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience, demonstrated during several Developmental Test assignments. My degrees include a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland.
