Then after a brief stint at an Internet company, I was hired by the City of Côte Saint-Luc to run the Department of Public Affairs and Communications. The management part of the job was new but it was a good way to add those skills. Making budgets is still boring to me, but it gives one the ability to introduce new initiatives, which I enjoy. My main production areas are copywriting, social media content, e-mail marketing, online forum moderation, videography, and photography. My team is awesome so sometimes we let them go on vacation. When they do, I pinch hit in graphic design, desktop publishing, website administration, and translation.
