My role involves managing cross-continental engineering efforts, including coordinating detailed design work in India, project management activities in South Africa, and overseeing site activities in Niger. I am responsible for overseeing a complex portfolio of procurement packages, orchestrating international bidding processes to ensure competitive sourcing and cost efficiency. Additionally, I facilitate key site development activities, such as greenfield site evaluations and plant layout optimizations, leveraging drone and geotechnical survey insights for comprehensive site analysis. I am also tasked with developing custom equipment specifications and driving international sourcing efforts, including the procurement and design of a prefab personnel camp from China. My duties extend to conducting detailed design reviews for critical plant components, such as crushing systems, stacking/reclaiming units, dry SAG mill, and Pugmill, and liaising with specialty vendors to ensure optimal design execution. I am committed to driving adherence to international standards, including NFPA, IFC, and EP4, to ensure the plant's design and operational procedures meet stringent regulatory requirements.
