Since then, CRS has become one of the largest and most sophisticated fire, CCTV and security system builiding integrators in the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area. In 2008, CRS received a significant amount of media exposure in many or our industry's trade periodicals as well as broad-based attention in local business journals and culminating in national recognition in Forbe's magazine for our efforts related to pioneering a large scale IP-based alarm monitoring initiative at Davidson College. CRS has also recently led the way in the new technology frontier in coordinating efforts between the Charlotte Fire Department and an installation partner in successfully adopting a new fire code which requires that a digital repeater be utilized for the transmission of signals (via WI-FI) to firefighter radios in replacing fire phones in elevators.CRS is currently ONSSI certified for network video applications. We are working on projects related to providing network/remote video on PDAs which would allow authorized users to view images in real time with excellent picture quality as well as the ability to control the cameras remotelyIn 2011, CRS became a UL-Certified installation agent for fire alarm installations. My personal goal is to continue to keep CRS ahead of the competition by providing the greatest possible value to our customers in satifsfying their needs for state-of-the-art building automation and life safety products and services.
