Proudly co-founded and developed Australia's first medicinal cannabis company supported and funded primarily by medical professionals. My role as COO includes, International Relationship Management, Strategy across Cannvalate's Global Expansion, Business Development and Sales. Here are some of the notable successes:-Acquired all licences to import and sell Medicinal Cannabis products- Built the patient access market share from the ground up; from 0%-40% of the all Medicinal Cannabis prescriptions written in Australia within 5 months.-Developed meaningful relationships with over 12 licensed producers (two of which are the top 5 in the world) and created agreements to represent them in Australia.- Assembled a network of over 2800 doctors nationally- Established over 600 pharmacy accounts- Expanded the team from 3 to 26 staff within 4 months, currently over 40 staff.- Activation of a Univeristy led, Gloablly recognised cannabinoid-only Contract Research Organisation (CRO). - Contracts secured for Cannvalate to deliver on an eight-figure market entry project and I've personally facilitated mutually-beneficial seven-figure M&A's.

I am responsible for coordinating the design, marketing, development, and execution of Australia’s first comprehensive cannabis education program: The Medicinal Cannabis Leadership Program. The Program was officially launched by Victorian Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Jaala Pulford, at Victorian Parliament House in May 2017 and has been endorsed by Prof Jon Watson, Dean of Medicine at Deakin University. It has also featured in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and Leafly.com The Program was successfully delivered over four full days to 30 participants in September 2017 with participants reporting an average satisfaction score of 92%.The Leadership Program is set to run again in March 2018 and preparations are already underway. My responsibilities include:• Development of company strategy and market analysis• Development of format and content• Identification and engagement of expert speakers• All sales, marketing and PR tasks including participant identification, engagement and enrolment• All coordination, administration and operational tasks including being the master of ceremonies• Securing corporate sponsorshipsPrior expert facilitators included CEOs, MDs and Directors of five Australian cannabis companies: AusCann; Cann Group; LeafCann; MMJ Phytotech; and Zelda Therapeutics. In addition, academics facilitated from five different universities, and even a Member of the Victorian Senate was amongst the team.

The role is within Stretch A Family's foster care team and involves the delivery a therapeutic program across all children and young people in foster care placements. More specifically, my role involved supporting a team of caseworkers, contact workers and support staff to deliver and effectively evidence an optimum level of care associated with therapeutic principles. My role also addresses the wider challenges of streamlining the company's systems and processes to promote positive outcomes for children and young people in line with legislation and best practice guidelines. Additional aspects of my role include; -Conducting annual reviews of all existing carers.-Recruiting and conducting assessments of new carers. -Inducting and mentoring new staff. -Providing supervision to staff and carers. -Conducting casework with children and young people within their respective placements.-Introducing and managing change to systems and processes-Reviewing and improving the way the organisation captures and evidences practice -Reviewing and rewriting policies and procedures-Promoting the values of the organisation

Stretch A Family is a fostering and community placement agency and has programs that operate in a residential care capacity providing a safe nurturing environment for 12-18 year old homeless adolescents. My role as Residential Care Case Manager involves the co-ordination, planning, implementation, monitoring and reviewing of individual case plans for children and young people. This also includes ensuring that the legislative requirements are met and adhered to and meeting with other professionals involved with the child/young person to gain a holistic understanding of their needs.- The role involved;- Analysis, reflective practice and supervision of a staff team that facilitate direct care. - Direct care casework to inform and authorise significant decisions in line with case planning. - Composition, review and monitoring of individualized case plans. - Composition of individualized client-centered emotional support plans. - Conducting risk assessments to determine the levels of care required for each placement.- Promoting the delivery of an ethos of care in line with the therapeutic model. - The facilitation of, 'on-call' duties that offer an initial response to support during times of crisis across all programs within the agency.
