• Contributed to the Gas Supply Hub implementation program by leading internal and external market readiness activities• Provide subject matter expertise and analysis to internal and external stakeholders on AEMO operated markets, in particular the Gas Supply Hub, DWGM and STTM• Manage the implementation of market rule changes and market development projects with other departments and divisions, including preparing plans, budgets, schedules, risks, resources, within budget parameters and agreed timelines • Document analysis and draw key conclusions using clear and concise language that is understandable to a diverse audience.

• Manage the ongoing function of Epic’s system for operating in the Adelaide Short Term Trading Market. • Work with various subject matter experts, maintain oversight and consolidate pertinent information in relation to developing and implementing Epic’s obligations for the Adelaide STTM, Wallumbilla Brokerage Hub and any future gas trading hubs.• Gas trading specialist in the Commercial group and give guidance and advice to the Commercial team and wider stakeholders on gas trading hub or STTM developments that may/will affect the business• Responsible for the overall quality, accuracy and timeliness of submission for all pipeline data or other information as required under the NGL/NGRs is submitted to the appropriate government body.• Assist in preparation of responses to enquiries from government bodies concerning data published for Gas Trading Markets, pipeline data and market events.• Review and make recommendations for improvement of Epic’s systems, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with National Gas Law and National Gas Rules Rules as they relate to the Gas Trading Markets or Bulletin Boards.• Work in cooperation with IT, Commercial Operations and Transportation Services to ensure that the Customer Reporting System reflects all current requirements for Gas Trading Markets or Bulletin Boards, and is updated to meet any changes.• Advise on shipper contracts to ensure that they adequately reflect Gas Trading Market requirements• Update and deliver training programs related to Gas Trading Markets or Bulletin Boards.

• Develop and recommend strategies, systems, models, reports and processes in order to assist and advise the Head of Gas Portfolio Management to actively manage the wholesale gas portfolio for a period greater than one month• Responsible for leading a team of analysts that provide timely, complete and accurate qualitative commercial and scenario analysis in order to actively managed the wholesale gas portfolio for all levels of management and managing key internal stakeholders• On-going management and development of all gas trading strategies, systems, models, reports and processes that enable the Energy Portfolio & Gas Portfolio Management team to actively and effectively manage the wholesale gas portfolio within the approved/delegated authorities and guidelines• Presenting analysis/insights/findings/information as required to all levels of management across the Merchant Energy, Upstream Gas and Corporate groups with particular focus within the Energy Portfolio Management team

• Monitor and manage a wholesale portfolio of storage capacity, pipeline transportation agreements, long-term gas supply and short-term trading to serve TRUenergy’s gas customers and other gas needs.• Participate in contract negotiations as authorised by the Manager Gas Supply.• Implement and update TRUenergy’s agreed bidding strategy and provide advice on activities in Victorian, South Australian and New South Wales gas markets.• Maintain new and improved relationships with key stakeholders and external counterparties and to maximise the revenue potential of key opportunities addressed

• Submit electricity and gas market bids in a timely and accurate manner, maximising revenue and managing risk whilst maintaining all legal, contractual and regulatory obligations.• Develop operating plans consistent with portfolio optimisation.• Negotiate short-term derivatives in the electricity and gas markets to optimise the portfolio or to hedge contractual positions.• Analysis of market conditions, competitor behaviour, risks and opportunities in both electricity and gas markets.• Reporting of market activities and financial results.• Analyse gas and electricity contract nominations and operation procedures to extract full value.
