High Availability (HA) - Azure SQL DB.

* Worked on extending the parallel read infrastructure introduced in InnoDB SE to help Oracle's HeatWave product to offload data present in InnoDB SE to their end.* Worked on identifying, analysing and fixing of performance related bottlenecks in the parallel read infrastructure.* Added support in InnoDB SE for histogram sampling using the parallel read infrastructure.* Responsibilities for the above projects included all parts of software life cycle - requirement analysis, design development, implementation, testing.

Worked on enhancing the page tracking feature (tracking of modified pages in-memory) in the InnoDB Storage Engine to allow the MySQL Enterprise Backup to utilise it for their Incremental Backup. The work sped up the incremental backup time by almost 1000x times.The main tasks were to provide an interface, persist the tracked information and to make the tracking crash-resilient. Was involved in the design and was responsible for implementation and delivery of the project.The project allowed me to get a good grasp of the storage internals as I’d to employ/make use of most of the concepts to make tracking efficient and consistent - mainly double write buffer, lazy flushing, checkpointing, crash recovery.

* Worked on developing a feature to monitor the status of the cloning operation in the InnoDB SE.* Fixed bugs/escalations in the InnoDB SE.

* Developed an Application Orchestrator for OpenStack to orchestrate deployment of applications and configurations to VMs, and running and scheduling of updates.* Responsibilities included all parts of software life cycle - requirement analysis, design development, implementation, unit-testing.* Worked on technologies like Ansible, RabbitMQ, OpenStack, SqlAlchemy.

Worked on building a face recognition app using the Qt framework, utilising the Computer Vision software developed by the company.
