My current role consists of the follow:Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments. Performing backups and applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Documenting the configuration of the systems. Troubleshooting any reported problems and assisting the Support Department with technical queries. Configuring Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, IIS Configuration, Installing Mail servers (Smarter mail), setting up new servers, performing PHP, MySQL and SQL installations, Database administration and assisting customers with various services telephonically and via email. The configuration of DNS, FTP, Mail, IIS, HTTP and HTTPS protocols.Other daily task includes the following: Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with Servers.

The role consisted of Domain Queries (registrations, transfers, updates, deletion * Coza/Enom), DNS setup, Telephonic and email support to customers, Email configuration and Web Hosting configuration.Main performance areas involved in the day to day running of the business involved the following.Ticket/Email volume Understanding troubleshooting needs and how to implement them using various diagnostic tools Resolve queries within the parameters of the department policy.
