Graduated quantity surveyor from Sheffield Hallam university and Experienced as a Quantity Surveyor with in almost 15 years in Sri Lanka as a Contractor and Consultant.The areas of expertise include contact administration, tendering and contract documentations, procurement and project monitoring etc. Currently a working as a Quantity Surveyor in Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau since 2007 with sound knowledge of FIDIC, ICTAD forms of contracts along with appropriate standard methods of measurements (CESMM3, SMM7)Simply I'm a result driven, self-motivated and well-qualified surveyor with post qualification experience in all Quantity Surveying aspects and especially Civil/Building constructions. Key strengths include contract administration, cost estimating, value engineering, cost planning, budgeting, measurements and cost management in medium and large-scale construction projects in both pre & post Contract stages working predominantly under Client, Consultancy, and Contractors.My intention is to continue my career as a professional Quantity Surveyor and improve, utilize mypotential skills, knowledge, abilities and experiences towards my career developmentwhile dealing with challenges and potential trends in the field of Civil Engineering.
