Over the years, Darshan has had an independent practice as a consultant in the field of strategic alignment and leadership. He has worked with clients across healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, mining, media, finance, education, consulting, public sector, academia and biotech.

Darshan was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where he served clients on issues of leadership and change in the Consumer Products, Retail, High-tech, Healthcare, Chemicals and Travel and Logistics sectors. In addition to the client-facing role, Darshan was involved in shaping how McKinsey thinks about its own approach to capability building and leadership development.

Darshan was a strategic advisor and part of the founding team of Harvard University’s Learning Innovations Laboratories (LILA) -- a learning forum for academics and practitioners fostering innovation in leadership, knowledge and learning. Members of Harvard LILA have been Chief Innovation / Learning Officers from organizations such as Walt Disney, UBS, US Federal Reserve Bank, The World Bank, IDEO, Ketchum, Johnson & Johnson, Motorola and MTV
