Designing and manufacture of Arm exoskeleton that can remotely control a 6 DOF industrial robot. Designed and prototyped a wearable accessory to be used by the operator of the Industrial robot. Formulated a unique mapping between the work volume of the human hand and the work volume of the remotely located robot using the concept of dual quaternion to efficiently consider the pose and the posture of the human arm. Quaternion was also used in defining the task space, pose and posture of the remote robot. The aforementioned mapping was implemented in real-time in achieving the arbitrary pose and posture of the secondary robot. Applications are varied, ranging from medical surgeries to industrial manufacturing processes to even civil applications such as maintenance and safety.
