Currently working as a grant funded researcher at University of Helsinki, Finland.Before it I Acted as a leader of 10 researchers for Novartis collaborated project, where I was responsible for proposing novel synthetic route to synthesize NCE’s, synthesis planning, ordering and tracking of chemicals, allocating work to team members, troubleshooting problematic issues, purification and characterization of NCEs using routinely employed methods, analytical data interpretation, high purity achievement, optimization to improve yield, and scale-up as per demand(i.e. complete life cycle of target receipt to dispatch to ensure delivery in on time).Additionally below are other key Responsibilities and achievement I have achieved.1. Performed verbal and written communication with internal and external team members, and clients regarding project progress to deliver the target molecules within the time line.2. Stayed up to date with the scientific literature and databases, such as Reaxys, Sci-finder, Free patent and Google scholar. 3. Performed variety of reactions with safety precautions, such as moisture-sensitive reactions or handling of toxic/hazardous chemicals, Palladium-catalysed cross-couplings, Oxidation & Reduction, Hydrogenation, Addition/Elimination, Aromatic substitution, Nitration, Diazotization, etc.4. Developed advanced skill in purification through Reverse phase Combi-flash, Preparative TLC, Column Chromatography, Flash Chromatography, Fraction Distillation, Re-crystallization, etc.5. Advanced technical knowledge & skills to analyse and interpret different types of analytical data to confirm formation of desired products and/or to identify unwanted side-products/impurities. Profound knowledge of NMR spectroscopy (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, NOE, COSY, HSQC, HSBC, etc.), LCMS, Chiral SFC/HPLC, Prep HPLC, GC, HPLC, Mass, and SOR analysis.
