Inspired by my disabled brother and shocked by the extent of this problem me together with Vaidas we have started to look for ways to solve this problem. It became obvious for us that this problem calls for a solution and there should be a better way to turn a patient and thus to prevent bedsores.We took our inspiration from multi-functional care beds that are currently in the market and have essential positioning functions like sitting and leg lifting. And we have created a mechanism, that along with those standard functions can help with turning of the patient in bed and requiring only one nurse instead of two or four. The decrease of manual labor makes our bed to pay off in several months and at the same time increases the quality of nursing service, and satisfaction of both caregivers and patients.Being the leader of our team, I'm involved in all activities we do, to deliver this product to the people.
