10 Weeks - 6/3/24 to 8/15/24• Technologies: ASP.NET Core MVC model, RESTful APIs, C#, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Swagger, Couchbase NoSQL database, OpenShift, Microsoft Service Fabric, Postman, ReadyAPI, StyleCop• Developed a high-impact performant ASP.NET WebAPI service that handles billions of REST requests daily to UPS’ Couchbase servers to retrieve package information for supply chain solutions (Last-Mile Logistics)• This service is critical to UPS – Final-Mile Logistics cannot deliver packages without this service• Replaced the deprecated service that was written with 32,000 lines of impossible-to-maintain code.• The new service is written in ~500 lines of code, with dependency injection, containerized with Docker, deployed to OpenShift (Kubernetes), has code-as-wiki documentation, and is platform agnostic• Presented my service at the end of the internship to the Sr. Director of App Development• Further selected to present at the Monthly Director Review; Presented to the President of Operations Technology• UPS Hackathon: Competed against 53 teams and Won 3rd Place in Google’s category; Implemented Google’s Cloud Vision AI to detect multiple objects in the lost packages warehouse to return them to the customer• Received a Co-op return offer for the Fall Semester
