• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes • Resolve adhoc and support requests using a central ticketing system • Escalate and documents incidents and outages categorized in line with teams procedure • Create simple to complex BASH scripts to help with automation of manual process and expedite resolution of the client’s requests • Create and execute daily aspects of Backup and Recovery • Maintain physical blade server and provides hardware installation • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures • Maintain capacity, security and change management • Maintain internal procedure documentation, policy and procedure manuals • Administrate physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, including firewalls and database • Manage and deploy Amazon Web Service EC2 instances and its components • Create, maintain and deploy Security Groups, Route 53 and Elastic IPs • Research feasibility of new tools that can help the team's efficiency
