I currently lead BCG's Calgary office after supporting the launch and growth of our first office in Western Canada. I am a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice and a topic expert in unconventional oil and gas. I am also a core member of BCG’s Centre for Canada’s Future, where we help move Canada forward by providing insight and expertise on the country’s most important issues. The centre also aims to convene leaders from the business, government, and nonprofit sectors to work together to achieve impact. Since joining BCG in 2007, I have worked with clients throughout the energy sector, including utilities, engineering firms, retailers, and oil and gas companies. I have helped these clients address key issues related to corporate development, strategy, and transformative change. My recent project experience includes helping launch a new energy retailing company, supporting the post merger integration of two global oil and gas companies, supporting utility regulator negotiations, and conducting strategic due diligence projects covering potential acquisitions in upstream oil and gas. I have also acquired extensive experience in the industrial goods sector, ranging from portfolio and growth strategy work through to transformation program management. Prior to joining BCG, I worked in the upstream oil and gas industry for Nexen in Yemen, Canada, and the United Kingdom. I am also a professional engineer in Alberta.
