Over three decades of valuable experience within the energy and agricultural sectors. Throughout my career, I've been pivotal in establishing and diversifying businesses across a range of areas, including fuels, foods, feedstocks, chemicals, and renewables. Lead the LHT commercial cross-functional team, overseeing trading and supply, logistics and scheduling, wholesale marketing and sales, additives, and renewables management. Our primary objectives revolve around fostering organic growth, enhancing earnings, navigating volatile markets, and effectively managing risks associated with our products. Beyond maintaining and optimizing our existing company assets, my team and I actively seek out and implement novel commercial opportunities. Leadership skills have consistently driven my teams toward heightened productivity. By optimizing processes, increasing efficiencies, and empowering team members to contribute, I've cultivated an environment of enhanced trust and efficacy, ultimately resulting in increased productivity. As business development director at TransMontaigne and Zenith Energy, I forged robust partnerships with major US refiners such as Exxon, Shell, BP, Chevron, Valero, Marathon, Phillips66, and Sunoco, alongside regional entities like Sheetz, Pilot, Rutters, and Metroplex. In this role, I managed every facet of customer relationships. Notably, while leading the expansion of renewable fuels at ADM, I guided teams dedicated to bolstering US infrastructure for vessels, barges, unit trains, and truck fleets. Through strategic collaborations with terminal and pipeline operators spanning the nation, as well as other producers, I facilitated streamlined exchanges and optimized the flow of products. During my tenure as a general manager overseeing high-grade alcohols and spirits, I developed plans to facilitate global trade with key players such as Alcotra, Trafigura, and Copersucar. It was during this period that I spearheaded the formation of ADM Fuels, broadening our product portfolio to include higher ethanol blends and renewable chemicals associated with glycol and glycerin.My greatest joy in life is spending time with my wife Connie and visiting our four adult children (BBGG) and spouses at the beach, mountains, baseball game, concert or the theater. Serving as an elder of Fellowship Church and helping as music minister helps keep my vocals sharp for community choir Opus24 and our many concerts throughout the year.
