Because of the nature of my position, I had continuous day today exposure to major oil and gas companies and theirengineers, this much knowledge acquiring and exposure I have gained good experience in my field, here are some of my most valuable lessons and tasks:-Assisting with user support, programming and testing of SerafimFUTURES petroleum engineering software (Integrated Asset Modelling))-Assisting reservoir engineering consultancy-Provide assistance with short-term and long-term forecasting -Perform Manual DCA(Decline Curve Analysis)-Ensuring data and operation integrity through QC'ing- Co-writing published SPE papers (i.e SPE-211458)- Company website management (WordPress)-Marketing and sales activities, including attendance at conferences Projects:FUTURES Upgrade | Jan 2023 - Dec 2023 | North Oil CompanyNOC in Qatar asked Serafim to assist in upgrading their FUTURES model and help add pressure calculations to their network among some other tailored functionality requests, in my capacity I was in charge of 2 sub projects:-Power and GHG: I was in charge of creating the Power nodes and GHG consumers for the Al-Shaheen network in FUTURES including calculating the appropriate coefficients and base loads and then submitting require documentation for NOC staff-Testing: I was in charge of testing the new functionality and and bugs associated in the new project

This internship broadened my scope into the Oil and Gas industry in ways never like before, most of the information that I learned was in two primary aspects of drilling, both Cementing and Acid Stimulation. Here is a summary of the skills and knowledge I acquired:-The basics of how to design a cement slurry in terms of water addition and additives addition-How to design specific cement for specific formations (i.e. Salt intervals)-How each additive works and what is their function (Accelerators, Retarders…etc.)-Work Ethics: being able to do hard work in extreme temperatures

In my capacity as an intern on the field and in the office for the duration of the internship I acquired the following information and skills:- The importance of accuracy in calculating STOOIP and reserves for the overall value of the field- Basic Knowledge of how a company establishes business fromthe ground up in a new field and a new country-The volatility of wild card wells in terms of drilling-Basic Knowledge of how "Temporary CPF"s operate-Acquiring knowledge of how different types contract agreements work between various stakeholders and the government
