After seeing my previous work, I was asked by one of the editors to help design the 25th edition of their Veranda Literary Journal.As I type this, I am now beginning to lay in all spreads including visual and written contributions and Covers.This position is freelance and expected to finish between the 2nd-16th August. Due to my previous volunteer positions with the Dandenong Council and it's youth programs, I was recommended to Mission Australia in Dandenong Plaza to redesign their 'Urban Quest' talent competition posters.They thought the design they had from previous years were too stale and corporate and didn't target their younger audience enough, so I was asked to bring my young creative flair to the project.My relationship with the client, and their satisfaction with my results lead me… Show more Due to my previous volunteer positions with the Dandenong Council and it's youth programs, I was recommended to Mission Australia in Dandenong Plaza to redesign their 'Urban Quest' talent competition posters.They thought the design they had from previous years were too stale and corporate and didn't target their younger audience enough, so I was asked to bring my young creative flair to the project.My relationship with the client, and their satisfaction with my results lead me to design for the next 3 events when they took a break in 2009. They received more funding for 2010 where they again requested my services.The popularity of the event and the growth in attending numbers and submissions were a result in part of my designs.
