    Projects: Responsible for designing, developing and implementing an industry first Identity and Access Management system for a major financial institution. Primary responsibilities included the design, development and implementation of user/resource provisioning through custom developed software libraries and workflows. Each target system required a detailed examination to gather requirements to build complete system specific identities. Each target system required a custom developed library to enable bi-directional data interfaces. Software libraries were developed in VB.net, C#, JAVA, and SQL depending on the appropriate system need. Utilized industry standard Identity Management software Computer Associates’ Identity Manager and SAP’s MaxWare to develop and implement highly flexible workflows to complete the provision process. Shared responsibilities included overall system design and integration including but not limited to: IAM software selection, Identity definition and aggregation, LDAP structure designs, system interface definitions, regulation compliance, resource identification, database designs and role identifications. As an end result the time-frame for a financial adviser to begin working at Raymond James was reduced from weeks to an overnight process. The entire identity management process was developed in strict compliance with SOX and PCI regulations. Other Tasks: Responsible for communicating security software requirements to all other development teams including kick-off requirement meetings, coding reviews, use case testing and compliance reviews.

The ETL layer was developed in vb.net, ADO.net and SQL Server 2000. The presentation layer was developed in Microsoft Reporting Services and later migrated to Crystal Enterprise integrated with Windows SharePoint Services. This solution allowed the company to present a standard set of customer reports and also provided key performance metrics across all customers’ data facilitating preemptive management decisions. Designed, developed and implemented the company’s intranet solution based on the Windows SharePoint Services platform. The intranet solution reduced systems administration tasks, increased employee collaboration and minimized the number of servers by presenting end users with a browser-based document repository, project collaboration sites and tight integration with Exchange. Development tasks included building custom web parts and front-end customizations. Designed, developed and implemented several EDI solutions that facilitated seamless exchanges of information between internal systems and third-party vendors. EDI solutions included writing a custom vb.net wrapper for Gnupg, an ftp client written in vb.net and vb.net Windows services for monitoring a configurable number of directories for file transport. Other Tasks: Daily administration tasks included end user issues, system updates, application updates anti-virus solutions and general hardware maintenance.
