Medical Waste Disposal Technician 1
Current• Identify inadequacies and request corrective action for work related to manufacturing processes, or installation of safety barriers and storage equipment and facilities. • As FOB (Forward Operating Base) Safety Coordinator, instructed, interpreted and explained safety work requirements to all employees and reviewed all potential safety hazards. • Coordinated with a Field Surgical Team of 30 doctors, nurses and surgeons on a daily basis.• Assist in environmental inspections and assessments .• Assist with Hazmat operations by accepting, storing and shipping generated hazardous waste on site.• Coordinated and arranged logistics of medical waste from 9 bases in my AO(Area of Operations).• Coordinated and implemented quality assurance functions to prepare for inspections. • Receives, stores, issues, inventories, counts, sort incoming materials and medical waste to verify receipt of items on requisition, document collections of medical waste to be destroyed. • Effectively communicated with military personnel on all levels (i.e., Project management, logistics planning, analyzed and developed recommendations for better work efficiency and maintained analytical reports and records of quality assurance results.
