Just Six Questions was a mobile app that asked users six multiple choice questions every day. The aim was to ‘pierce the bubble’ and get a better view of what the rest of the country was really thinking.

• Set up the Transaction Legal Department when SMBC Nikko first entered the securities business. Duties included:
• Negotiating, reviewing and drafting of complex legal documentation (Final Terms / Prospectuses / Trust Deeds, Agency Ags etc.) for a broad range of public and private debt, equity, and structured products e.g. FX.
• Advising Debt and Equity Depts. in London and Tokyo on best ways to structure financial transactions
• Responsible for managing and executing capital raising projects, from origination to completion, for numerous international parties e.g., Toyota, SOCAR and ADB
• Instructing external legal counsel in UK and internationally
• Interpreting of legal points for senior level stakeholders often under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Duties included:
• Negotiating, reviewing and executing legal documentation for a broad range of debt, equity and structured products e.g. Term Sheets, Offering Circulars, Trust Deeds, Agency Ags.
• Negotiating with external parties such as Stock Exchanges / Listing Authorities, Rating Agencies, borrowers, magic circle law firms and auditors
• Instructing external legal counsel in UK and internationally
• Setting up and updating MTN / ECP Programmes as Arranger and Dealer
• Drafting and reviewing Final Terms for Warrants and MTN Trades e.g. FX, equity, index, commodity, and credit-linked notes
