Advised the PSCM Wells Team on the planning of a 400 well onshore drilling programme, aggregating demand across the business units, standardising requirements with the technical functions and increasing competition by encouraging overseas contractors into the India market.Managing senior level relationships with key suppliers and contractors. Included conducting senior leadership ‘Roadshows’ in Calgary and Houston and set up of temporary small team in Houston.Led negotiations with all major suppliers to reduce cost of operations through a major oil-price downturn whilst reducing activities and delivering significant cost deflation in the remaining cost base.

Accountable to COO for all supply chain and logistics activities in Cairn assets across southern Asia, Mediterranean, Africa and Greenland. A new position in Cairn, which required building a team capable of delivery, development and implementation of new policy, procedures and strategy and the subsequent engagement of key players across the organisation. Managed team that delivered contracts for first ever multi well arctic offshore drilling programme including dual rig strategy and iceberg management strategy. Total spend over 2 year programme in excess of $1.2bn Personally responsible for negotiating and securing rigs for the drilling campaigns in a very tight supply market. Key success factor in this was use of strong networks and contacts across the industry. Responsible for contracts and logistics delivery for multiple drilling operations across North Africa, Ireland and Greenland for 2013 and 2014 exploration programmes.
