It was my junior year in high school when part of my assignment was to read an article on different professional careers. I picked an article on Landscape Architecture and from that one article I learned that everything that I enjoy about being outside, getting my hands dirty and being physically active can be turned into a career.My becoming a “Landscape Architect” dreams quickly faded, but I still enjoy the design process and continue to improve myself every time I touch a design.

Was a foreman that oversaw two maintenance crews for a large, upscale community (Governors Club) in Chapel Hill, NC. I was in charge of keeping the crews moving along with landscape maintenance duties such as flower bed maintenance, weed control and pruning. Also, I had to submit daily timesheets and completed weekly performance sheets in Excel.
