Sarah Caldwell once said, "The secret of living is to find someone who will pay you to do what you would pay to do if you had the money." That has been my happy privilege for most of my life. My work as Director of The Leadership Anvil brings me a deep sense of fulfillment. My primary work is to equip, encourage and mentor Christian academics and leaders, particularly in Europe. I have been speaking at universities, conferences, and churches globally for more than 30 years. After helping launch Global Scholars which places Christians in teaching positions at universities outside of North America, I served as President from 1988 until 2014. I taught for several years as a Professor of Religion and Philosophy at the Kansas Christian College, Overland Park, Kansas. Our son and daughter are both married and have blessed us with five grandchildren.
