DARYL RABIDOUX is in no way a stranger to the art and process of recording. He has spent the last 14 years (on the creative side) laying down guitar tracks for his previous bands, prog-rock pioneers, The Cancer Conspiracy, and hardcore/metal veterans, Drowningman. With past works engineered and produced by Matt Squire (The Receiving End of Sirens), Chad Clark (Dismemberment Plan/Fugazi) and Steve “Hollywood” Evetts (Sepultura/Dillinger Escape Plan), Daryl has learned many things about song structure and production style and what it takes to make a great record.He was first on the list to be a part of the initial Strangeways Recording studio built by Mike Poorman (Hot Rod Circuit,) and helped co-run the facility from 2005-2011 in both Burlington, VT and Providence RI. He had the privilege to record bands such as TREOS, Deertick, Bad Rabbits, Irepress, Constants, and Therefore I Am, to name a few. From his 6 years and countless hours at the helm during his Strangeways tenure, he has developed a knack for lovingly coaxing the best performances out of whomever he works with, and a thorough understanding of the mechanics of the equipment he is using to do it (some of this equipment he custom built). It is not surprising why he has become a respected name in the world of underground and innovative music production.
