Responsible for all financial management of German owned US location providing plastic injection molding and extrusion parts to the automotive industry. Duties include month end close, budget, fixed assets, job costing of customer owned tooling, cash management, review preparation, banking relations, tax abatement applications, and foreign currency transactions. Created first budget and detailed operating standards of start-up operation. Corrected taxable amount of utilities resulting in $45,000 refund of overpaid sales tax going back four years and annual savings of $20,000. Cleaned up financial statements to reflect proper presentation.
