General Manager Of The Weir Archer Athletics And Fitness Centre/ Heathly Communities Lead
Current* Financial and Operational Management of Centre including Budget and Forecasting for Centre.* Business Development of Centre, implementing growth in all areas of the business.* Project Management off investments on site including Track Improvement and new Hammer cage (Six figure investment by Local Authority), new Artificial football pitches (£60k), and a range of other projects inside and outside the Centre.* Strategic planning and Capital investment planning.* Planning and implementation of Healthy Communities programmes in partnership with local authority using a range of funding sources.* Event planning and Management, including Country and Southern England events , Club Athletics, Schools Sports Days and Community based events up to 5000 attendees.* Responsibility for Centre Marketing.* Implementation of new income streams.The Centre is home to a vast variety of Athletic events from school sports days and Athletic training for able and disabled athletes to large events such as the Surrey Championships. We also host several football clubs and are now the home for AFC Kingston.The Centre comprises of an Athletic Stadium (Including two Hammer/ Discus cages), two 3G Artificial football pitches, an 11aside grass pitch, Gym and Sauna.
