About Daryl Werner

I have 20+ years of experience in K-12 schools including 15 years as a building level administrator at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels in urban, suburban and rural settings. I began my administrative career at Irvington Preparatory Academy, a charter school on the east side of Indianapolis, as part of a small group that helped design the school from the start and continued as we grew the enrollment from 45 to over 350 over the course of 6 years. Since that time, I've helped to lead multiple schools through systematic school improvement efforts including two schools that went from a D to an A rating from the state DOE.Most recently I joined the SkyBound Education team in 2022, where I've worked closely with school leaders in the planning and implementation of school transformation efforts funded through state and federal grants.
