Mr. Daryl Wynn serves as the ONR Science Advisor to the USFFC, Norfolk VA. The Science Advisor works for the Commander providing scientific and technical guidance, direction, and support to the entire Command. Specific duties include providing technical advice, information and solutions for current warfighting issues to the Commander, USFFC. Ensuring USFFC science and technology related needs and requirements are effectively communicated to the naval science and technology community. Provide technical solutions to equipment problems by utilizing the various quick response programs provided by the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Incumbent will collaborate with the Marine Corps and Navy Science & Technology community to bring new products and warfighting capabilities to the US Navy. He will also collaborate with other ONRG Science and Technology staff as appropriate.

Provide technical advice, information and solutions for currentwarfighting issues to the Commander, USMARFOCOM. Ensure the Science & Technology needs/requirements of the Commander, USMARFORCOM are being effectively communicated to the Office of Naval Research and addressed by the Naval Enterprise and technology communities.

Mr. Wynn began his government career with the department of the Navy in 1989 at SPAWAR Systems Center Norfolk, formerly NAVELEXCEN. He as worked on capabilities in Electronic Warfare, Automated testing, Relocatable Over the Horizon Radars (ROTHR). Command and control, Network systems development and installations, He was the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts DUSD (AS&C) liaison to JFCOM J9 Joint Experimentation Directorate, science and technology branch for Advanced Concept Technical Demonstrations (ACTD).He later served as the USJFCOM Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration and Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (ACTD/JCTD) Branch Chief at USJFCOM.
