Supervised the Training and Support Center staff and the Organizational Change Management team as Broward County Public Schools implemented the Budget, Finance, Human Resources and Payroll, and Training and Events modules of the SAP ECC 6.0 software. Developed and managed the Remedy Incident Management system designed to offer quick resolution to systemic problems with the implementation and ongoing upgrades. Oversaw the Segregation of Duties process to ensure that appropriate staff were given correct roles in the SAP system thereby eliminating potential conflicts. Designed and delivered ongoing online training and support through Blackboard Collaborate and the Blackboard Academic Online Suite enabling end users to have immediate access to initial training on how to use the new system, as well as new information to their roles as a result of changes being made within the system. This was a system-wide implementation resulting in the need for all stakeholders of the school district to be trained on how to use the new SAP system in some capacity, some to support their job function within the organization, all employees to successfully use Employee Self Service to conduct their payroll and benefits changes, and all employees to select appropriate training and professional development opportunities.

Led the implementation and project management of several instructional technology initiatives as part of the district-wide 5-year IT Blueprint. As a direct report to the Chief Information Officer, I supervised district-wide deployments of key instructional technology projects, including:- e-Learning Broward: Development and delivery of online technical programs for adult learners.- Innovative Media Centers: Transformation of media centers into modern learning hubs, including system-wide implementation and staff training on using digital tools.- IDEA (Individual Devices Enabling Access): Rollout of handheld tutors via Kurzweil and access to online textbooks to support personalized learning.- Blackboard Academic Suite Implementation: Managed the district-wide implementation of Blackboard, providing training for teachers and staff on utilizing the Learning Management System for both K-12 classrooms and professional development.- Principals’ Committee: Chaired the ad-hoc committee of school principals, overseeing the speed and efficiency of implementing IT Blueprint initiatives across the district.

Designed and teach Instructional Leadership online courses to post-graduate students aspiring to be leaders in the K-12 educational arena.

In August 2014, with myself as Intern Principal, a Magnet Coordinator, a ninth grade School Counselor, ESE Specialist and Reading Specialist, along with 10 teachers (3 online and the rest using a blended format) we opened up Sheridan Technical High School which is designed to be the best high school in all of Broward County. Starting with an incoming 9th grade of 150 students in August 2014, each year a new class will enter so by the 2017-2018 school year the high school will be capped at 600 students. We will be offering our courses either in an online or blended format. Each student will receive their own laptop to utilize both at school and at home. During the Freshman and Sophomore years students will learn how to be effective online students so that during their Junior and Senior years all of their courses will be delivered online. Students will physically attend school if, and when, they need to demonstrate proficiencies. This will enable them the flexibility to conduct on the job training, apprenticeships, or hold down a job in the technical field of their choice. Each student will graduate with 32 credits in Honors or Advanced Placement courses, as well as certifications in one of over twenty technical programs. Offering academic courses and career programs in this manner truly offers students a "hands-on, minds-on experience".

Worked on the development and monitoring of online courses for adult learners across multiple fields and programs including Business, Marketing, and Customer Service; Barbering, Cosmetology, and Spa Services; Adult Basic Education (ABE), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); Graphic Arts and Information Technology; just to name a few. In addition, we offer these online and blended programs to qualified high school students.

Master Digital Educators (MDEs) are a part of the Florida Digital Educator program. The MDE's are trained by the program staff with a focus on technology integration, project based learning, action research and large scale professional development for statewide impact. MDE's are given the opportunity to participate in statewide research initiatives; local, state, regional and national advocacy through conferences, organizations/associations; creation,production and evaluation of digital media assets and technologies; and ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Part of the pioneering team that opened the first and largest franchise of the Florida Virtual School to elementary, middle, and high school students in Broward County. Utilized in various capacities, BVS enabled students the flexibility to participate in: credit recovery, enhancements in learning, ability to take a course not offered at their school, a Broward County public school by returning from a homeschooling option, online courses as a hospital-homebound student, and the taking of an online course. Was part of the Governance Committee determining policies and procedures by which the school would operate, as well as how the virtual school would be implemented systemically.
