Daryle has a dynamic background with many skills and experience. Having been recruited by universities for three different sports, he chose to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point where he decided to focus on leadership, academics, and football. After great thought and counsel, Daryle chose to transfer to Purdue University after two years where he could pursue his interest in science and medicine. He spent most of the next twelve years in medical research, graduate work, and starting a family while residing in San Diego. Working in R&D for the pharmaceutical industry for three years, Daryle decided to move his family to Valparaiso, Indiana and transition into the business end of the pharmaceutical field. Here he succeeded in achieving great sales results while marketing a variety of products in many therapeutic classes, trained new reps, was science liaison for area & company marketing purposes, and developed a business model that was accepted by corporate and rolled out to nation. Daryle then transitioned into occupational medicine. During this tenure, he has been in charge of business development, product development, contract negotiations, operations, and earning his MBA from Indiana University. His points of contact have been corporate leaders, C-suite, owners, plant managers, general managers, safety directors, human resource managers, hospital department heads, physician groups, hospital administration, laboratories, insurance companies, and third party administrators. He has also been in various leadership roles in community boards, church, youth, school organizations, and started businesses.
