Daryl provides strategic advisory services to Greystone's conventional and small balance loan programs. Prior to joining Greystone Daryl provided strategic advisory services to Freddie Mac's Small Balance Loan program and also advised Cornerstone Housing Corporation related to the acquisition of apartments and affordable development opportunities in Northern Virginia. Daryl also pursues residential real estate and operating business equity investments in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. Non profit board member involved with two local non profits focused on affordable housing and financial literacy. Previously a commercial real estate finance and asset management executive with Freddie Mac responsible for managing a $110 billion multifamily loan portfolio and a $5 billion Low Income Housing Tax Credit equity portfolio. Expertise in property/loan surveillance, troubled loan resolution, property management and sales. Deep knowledge of advanced risk rating tools for loan/portfolio valuation and management. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.Previously responsible for managing the servicing, emerging risk, loss mitigation and REO management/sales activities for Freddie Mac’s 9,000 loan conventional, affordable and structured multifamily loan portfolio; managing customer relationship activities for a 26 company lender network and directing the activities of the market research, valuation and physical risk functions.
