Started out managing (Operations) of several of the Ranches, as part of the integrated operations of a large operation, developing coordination of preparation, planting, grow cycle, harvest as the operation grew to near 2000 acres. As the Market Place developed and Regulatory Requirements matured into the current state, having the highest level of experience in the Compliance fields of Quality Control and Food Safety at Innovative Produce, the advancement was made to Food Safety Program Manager for Innovative Produce. FOOD Safety Director:Developed Educational/Regulatory required training, developed a program with third parties, laboratory and the internal levels at Innovative Produce.Managed program requirements, Conducted audits, employee training, compliance verification, surveillance on ranches and facilities.Compliance Operations:- Air Pollution Control District (APCD) which included local applicable APCD Regulations negotiation, implementation & operation, conversion of Water Well power natural gas to electric and conversion of Water Well power diesel to electric.- County Ag Commissioners Inspections, which required regulations Compliance with Training, Licensing, inventory and use reports- California Air Resources Board Compliance, which included the On Road Truck Compliance (TRUCRS) Program, developing Fleet strategy, permitting, implementing, and maintaining compliance.Reported and recorded various annual reporting requirements.- Organic Certification & Inspection process to convert to and maintain. - Managed Field Inspection of Third-Party Nurseries for Plant health & delivery schedule.- Participated in in-house Equipment design.- County CUPA Program Management for H&S Training, Business Plan Management, HazMat Compliance, Record Keeping and Reporting.- Managed water well sampling, operational problems/solution & operation.- Special Projects as requested from Management.- California Regional Water Quality Control Board R-III
